Newborn photography

At the moment I seem to be getting a lot of bookings for newborn photography.

Such a special time and a privilege for me to capture those first portraits. I have plenty of blankets, toys, backdrops for newborn photography. I want to buy more all the time, baby props are an “addiction”. It is also great if the parents can bring some of their own outfits, toys or special blankets to the shoot. There might be also some really special family heirloom that can be included?

I often hear from the parents that they dont want to be in the images but I always encourage them to have some portraits done with their new bundle of joy. The portraits one day will become very valuable and sentimental for both the parents and the children and the generations thereafter.

A lot of the time newborn shoots are stop-and-go, I allow plenty of time for rest and feeding. Allow 2-3 hours for the photography and viewing.
